ቅድስት ሥላሴ
God is one eternal being in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Father is the source of the Son and the Spirit, yet none comes before or after another, and the three always act together. God creates, sustains and guides all things.
አንድ አምላክ በሦስት አካል፤ አብ፣ ወልድና መንፈስ ቅዱስ። ሦስቱ አካላት በባሕርይና በሥልጣን አንድ ናቸው፤ ሁሉን ይፈጥራሉ፣ ይጠብቃሉ፣ ይመራሉም።

God the Son took a real human nature from the Virgin Mary by the Holy Spirit, so that God and man are one Person, without confusion or division. He suffered, died on the cross and rose again, conquering sin and death. This is the faith we call Tewahedo, “made one”.
ወልድ በመንፈስ ቅዱስ ከቅድስት ድንግል ማርያም ሥጋን ነሣ፤ አምላክና ሰው ያለ መቀላቀልና ያለ መለያየት አንድ ሆነ። ስለ እኛ ተሰቀለ፣ ሞተ፣ ተነሣም፤ ኃጢአትንና ሞትን ድል አደረገ። ይህ ተዋሕዶ የምንለው እምነት ነው።

በቅዳሴ ጊዜ ኅብስቱና ወይኑ በካህኑ ጸሎት የክርስቶስ እውነተኛ ሥጋና ደም ይሆናሉ። ምእመናን በንስሐና በቅድስና ተዘጋጅተው ለዘለዓለም ሕይወት ይቀበላሉ።
